SaaS development
for Gulf startups and businesses

We take your idea from a first call to a working platform in 4 to 8 weeks, at one fixed price agreed before we start.

Looking for a SaaS development company?

PickMySaaS is a founder-led studio that builds SaaS platforms and web applications for businesses in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and across the GCC. A first version typically takes 4 to 8 weeks and costs one fixed price, agreed in your proposal before any work starts.

You work directly with Asfand, the person who designs and builds your product. There are no account managers and no handoffs. We work fully remotely, with a demo every week, so you see the product take shape and can steer it.

What we build

Software your customers log in to

SaaS means customers subscribe to your software and use it online. These are the kinds of product we build.

Booking platforms

Customers pick a time and pay or confirm online, and your team manages it all from one screen.

Dashboards

One place for your customers or staff to see their numbers, orders, reports and status.

Directories and marketplaces

Searchable listings with maps and owner accounts, earning through paid plans or advertising.

Internal tools

Software that replaces the spreadsheets and WhatsApp threads your team runs on today.

AI products

Assistants that answer in Arabic and English, and tools that read and process documents.

APIs and integrations

Connections between your product and the systems your business already uses.

Before you build

Do you actually need SaaS?

Often you don’t, at least not yet. This is how we’d decide on a first call.

A website is enough

Customers need to find you, trust you and contact you. Nobody needs to log in.

Start with a website from $300.

Start with an MVP

You have an idea but no paying users yet, and you need to find out whether people want it.

Build the smallest version real users can try.

Build the SaaS platform

People already want it or pay for it by hand, and you need accounts, roles and subscriptions to serve them.

Scope

What goes in the first version

Most SaaS projects run late because they try to launch everything. We help you decide what to build first and what can wait.

Build first

  • The one job customers will pay for, working from start to finish
  • User accounts and roles, so each person sees only what they should
  • Plans and subscriptions
  • An admin dashboard to run the business without calling a developer
  • Arabic and English, with right-to-left layouts from day one
  • One payment method that works in your first country

Usually wait

  • Extra countries, currencies and payment providers
  • Advanced reports, until you know what customers ask for
  • Integrations nobody has requested yet
  • AI features that don’t save time or money
  • Features for customer types you don’t have yet

We don’t build native iPhone or Android apps. We build fast web apps that work on any phone, with no app store needed.

Cost

What affects the price of a SaaS product

We don’t publish one SaaS price, because a booking tool and a multi-country marketplace are different projects. These are the things that move your fixed price.

What we look atKeeps it simplerTakes more work
User types One customer type and one admin Several roles with different screens and permissions
Payments Manual invoices or one provider Subscriptions across several countries and providers
Integrations None, or one well-documented service Older systems such as your existing CRM or accounting software
Countries One country and currency Several countries with their own rules and prices
AI No AI, or one clear task Assistants trained on your data, in Arabic and English
Hosting Standard cloud hosting GCC hosting when your sector requires it

You get one fixed price in your proposal, with no hourly billing. You pay by invoice and bank transfer: 50% upfront and 50% once the job is done.

Selling in the Gulf

Payments and data rules differ by country

A platform that sells across the GCC can’t assume one setup works everywhere. Here is what we checked on 4 November 2026.

CountryStripe lists it as supportedData protection law to plan for
United Arab Emirates Yes Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021
Saudi Arabia No Personal Data Protection Law, fully enforceable since 14 September 2024
Oman No Personal Data Protection Law, Royal Decree 6/2022
Qatar No Confirm with a local adviser
Kuwait No Confirm with a local adviser
Bahrain No Confirm with a local adviser

Stripe’s list of supported countries

What this means for you: where Stripe isn’t an option, we connect PayPal or another provider that works in your country, and we confirm the right one with you before we build.

The UAE and Oman laws both control the use of personal data and sending it abroad, and the Saudi law sets conditions on transfers too. So where your data is stored, and what users agree to at sign-up, are decisions to make early. This is planning information, not legal advice.

A real example

How GulfNurseries was built to pay for itself

A client project: one directory covering 3,000+ nurseries across all six GCC countries.

The GulfNurseries homepage: a search for nurseries by name and city, and country cards for Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain with their nursery counts.

The problem

Parents had no single place to compare nurseries. Information was scattered across social media, outdated listings and word of mouth.

How it earns

Listings are free to claim, which gets owners to keep them up to date. Paid plans and advertising then give owners more visibility.

How people use it

Parents search by city and neighbourhood on a map, compare fees and curriculum, then call or WhatsApp in one tap. In the Gulf, that’s how people contact a business.

How it gets found

Parent guides on licensing, starting age and choosing a nursery are written to rank in search, so growth doesn’t depend only on ads.

GulfNurseries is a directory with paid plans. We’re showing it because it uses the same parts as a SaaS product: accounts, plans and multi-country data.

How we build

Proven technology, and code you own

Boring choices are good for a business. These keep your product fast, secure and easy to hand to another developer one day.

1

Python and Django

The framework behind Instagram. User logins, permissions and an admin area come built in, so your budget goes to what makes your product different.

2

A demo every week

We work in short sprints, so you see real software early and can change direction before it gets expensive.

3

You own everything

The domain is registered in your name and the code is handed over when the project is complete. No lock-in.

4

After launch

We stay reachable, and the monthly care plan keeps your product updated, secure and backed up.

Questions

SaaS development questions

What founders and businesses ask before they start.

How much does SaaS development cost?
Every product is different, so you get one fixed price in your proposal, agreed before we start. There is no hourly billing. You pay 50% upfront and 50% once the job is done, by invoice and bank transfer.
How long does it take to build a SaaS product?
Typically 4 to 8 weeks for a first version. Your proposal names the exact timeline.
What is the difference between SaaS and a web application?
A web application is software people use in a browser, with nothing to install. SaaS is a web application your customers subscribe to. We build both.
Do you work with clients in Saudi Arabia and the UAE without a local office?
Yes. We work fully remotely, by video, WhatsApp and email, across Gulf time zones. You never need to meet in person.
Can you take over a product someone else built?
Usually, yes. We review it first and tell you honestly whether to improve it or rebuild.
Can the platform be in Arabic?
Yes. Bilingual Arabic and English is our default, not an add-on.
Should I hire a local or an international developer?
A local team can meet you in person. A remote studio like ours costs you no travel and works by video and WhatsApp. Either way, ask who will actually build your product and whether you’ll own the code.
